Joe Sturtevant is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon and Washington with 33 years of experience in civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure.He started his career as a design engineer in 1992 and within four years founded his first engineering consulting firm, going on to build, grow, and sell multiple engineering businesses over the next three decades.He founded Sturtevant, Golemo & Associates, growing it to over $5 million in annual billings. He later founded Surface Tech, where he invented and patented ACE XP, a Kevlar fiber asphalt reinforcement technology, and built the company from a garage startup to international markets. He also served as Principal Engineer and Partner at PACE Engineers, where he led the Land Development Department and held equity in the firm.Joe has hired, mentored, and managed engineers at every career stage.
